Acevedo-Chazaro named EVP, Chief Stewardship Officer at Casanova//McCann

Ingrid Otero-Smart, President/CEO of Casanova//McCann, announced the appointment of Karla Acevedo-Chazaro to the newly created role of Chief Stewardship Officer effective immediately.

Karla has been an invaluable part of our team for over a decade, and in that time has helped grow our Nestlé USA business to be one of the largest spenders in the Hispanic media industry and recognized by the CMC as the “Marketer of the Year”.

Karla embraced and stewarded our vision of becoming our Clients’ partners, being business leaders and not simply account people, hence the title, said Ms. Otero-Smart. “Karla is one of the most strategic, caring, and committed professionals I have ever worked with and making this move as part of the new Casanova was very important to me and to the Agency as a whole,” concluded Ms.Otero-Smart.

“I’m humbled and excited about this opportunity and about continuing to help our business leaders become insightful strategic partners for all our clients. We are privileged every time a brand entrusts us with their business, so truly caring and understanding it deeply has always been a top priority on how we partner with them. There is really nothing more rewarding than seeing their brands grow,” said Ms. Acevedo-Chazaro.

Karla joined Casanova in 2010 from McCann Mexico, where she led the Mastercard and Wyeth business units, overseeing all media, digital and advertising operations for her clients.
