Deezer targets Hispanics

Deezer, the music streaming service is introducing a brand new campaign targeting Latinos with the debut of “together we make magic.” Music lovers across the United States, Mexico, Colombia and Argentina will all be able to joyfully relate to that first twitch or tingle we feel when we hear a song that we really love.

The end-of-the year campaign created alongside The Story Room shows the universal power that music has to stimulate our mind and senses – whether it’s a slight tap of the foot, a light drumming of our fingers or a simple head bop. There’s no doubt about it that music has the ability to make our bodies move and bring us together.

Six different videos in 15 second or 30 second formats are featured in both English and Spanish to reflect the growing number of bi-cultural music fans that love Latin music. Since last year, the number of daily active listeners on Deezer who have listened to Latin music surged by 30% in the US alone. Given that US Hispanics spend 32 hours listening to music per week and 45% stream music,* the campaign is specifically designed to appeal to a growing consumer base that relies heavily on music in their private lives and within their social circle.

The multi-platform brand campaign will lead with digital advertising, complemented with radio, outdoor and surprise music events that sparks magic within communities.  

Deezer has retained the full-service creative, advertising, experiential and digital marketing services of The Story Room for the Americas. The Americas includes: North America, Central America and South America, excluding Brazil.
