In a compelling message to corporate America, Daisy Expósito-Ulla accepted the ADCOLOR® Lifetime Achievement Award, asking the audience at The Boca Raton Resort Hotel to “look around this room and see if the many ethnic components that we see so beautifully represented here tonight are also represented at your client’s level.”

Expósito-Ulla, chairman/CEO of d expósito & Partners, spoke last night at the black-tie ceremony dinner, during the 10th Annual ADCOLOR® Conference and Awards in which the prestigious organization fulfilled once again its mission of “highlighting and honoring the achievements of African-American, American Indian/Native American, Asian Pacific-American, Hispanic/Latino, LGBT professionals and diversity and inclusion champions in the creative industries.”

Speaking to the youngest in the audience, Expósito-Ulla said: “You bring the color and the poetry, the dream and the energy, the smarts and the guts to make it happen. You have wings, wings of diversity—and those are the most colorful and the strongest ones to resist ALL kinds of winds. So, just fly…because you can!”

In a recount of her career, she explained: “I was not ‘asked’ to create The Bravo Group at Young & Rubicam. I was not ‘invited’ to create a new, woman, minority-owned independent agency after a successful career of 25 years in a world of consolidation, globalization and all the ‘ations’ that would nearly make it a foolish adventure. I did it because I was inspired, motivated and determined!”
“We are delighted to honor and acknowledge such an exceptional leader as Daisy who was selected based on her numerous professional accomplishments and her spirit of helping the next generation in the industry,” said Tiffany R. Warren, Founder and President of ADCOLOR®
