The Hidden Cost Of Time Wasted On Data, By Industry

Most organizations “waste” at least some time daily organizing and sharing digital data enabling their enterprises and marketing to function optimally, according to findings of the 2018 edition of PointSource’s annual “Digital Transformation Report.”

Only 10% of the senior-level decision makers responding to the study said their organizations experience no wasted time tracking and distributing digital data, while 46% said they waste an hour or more daily.

That’s not just a theoretical cost, according the study, which estimates the average annual cost per wasted employee hour is $7,739.64.
