Hispanic TV Summit: Combate Americas Sign Sponsorship Deal With Monster Energy

Hispanic-targeted mixed martial arts franchise Combate Americas has reached a sponsorship deal with Monster Energy Drink, the two companies announced Wednesday.

The deal calls for Monster to become the official energy drink of Combate Americas in the United States and Mexico. As part of the agreement, Monster will receive brand integration inside La Jaula, the Combate Americas competition cage, as well as well as brand integration in the Facebook Watch streaming portion of Combate Americas live events, and in-venue activations during Combate Americas events.

The partnership kicks off with Combate Americas’ Oct. 13 Mexico vs. USA event airing live on Univision  and Univision Deportes, and on streaming service DAZN.

“We are thrilled to have Monster Energy sign on as the Official Energy Drink of Combate
Americas,” said Mike Pine, Chief Revenue Officer, Combate Americas. Pine will address the deal Thursday during the Multichannel News/Broadcasting & Cable Hispanic TV Summit in New York.

“Bringing the Monster Energy brand to life in La Jaula and incorporating it during our live events and Facebook Watch streams offers Monster’s messaging in an authentic voice that only Combate Americas can deliver,” Pine added.
