TuYO radio launches on DASH Radio

TuYo Media announced the launch of its’ TuYo Radio on DASH radio and the return of international star Rocio “La Peligrosa” Sandoval to radio.

“Rocio is more than a radio personality; she is a mother, writer, and talented performer,” said Gabriel Vázquez, SVP & Head of Talent, TúYo Media. “She is the perfect personality to launch our TuYo Radio platform on DASH. She earned her “La Peligrosa” nickname – ‘the dangerous one’ – for her ability to speak freely about taboo topics that most people are afraid to address.  Rocio represents Latinas and has proven time and time to be able to connect with listeners in a male-dominated radio format. Rocio’s fans admire her for being imperfect, sincere and accepting her flaws. We are excited and know the listeners of DASH will be drawn to her.”

Sandoval has had a successful radio and singing career in Latin entertainment. Prior to the birth of her son, she released four successful albums, toured throughout the U.S. and Mexico, and was the host of afternoon-drive on Univision Radio.  The return of “La Peligrosa,” on Tuyo Radio will showcase a woman who is stronger, mature and more determined than ever to entertain and inspire her audience.

TuYo Radio on Dash is a bilingual digital radio station featuring music, news, talk, and entertainment. Serving as a consultant, former Univision Radio executive Veronica Nava will lead the programming, in collaboration with record executives Joel Medina, Javier Morales and Vaźquez, reporting to CEO/Founder Pete Salgado.

“The team driving our radio division is first-class and have all built careers for talent in their respective industries,” said Vaźquez. “Veronica is a distinguished radio executive, who successfully led Univision’s Los Angeles flagship station KSCA-FM; Joel and Javier Morales both have in-depth experience with independent and major record labels, including music publishing; and Gabriel Vasquez and I have an extensive history working together during Jenni Rivera’s career,” said Salgado.
