AHAA launches Rising Star Recognition and Call For Nominations

AHAA: The Voice of Hispanic Marketing announced the creation of the Rising Stars Recognition, the Hispanic marketing industry’s premier award for outstanding marketing professionals ages 35 and under. Nominations are being accepted through April 28 with winners being honored at the 2017 AHAA Annual Conference, taking place June 12 to 14 at the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago.

“This is a way for our industry to recognize young professionals who are making a significant impact on our industry through their leadership, career achievements and personal qualities – these leaders of tomorrow also will inspire others to excel,” said AHAA Chair Linda Lane Gonzalez.

Criteria for Nomination:

•         Age 35 or younger at the time of nomination and employed in the U.S. marketing industry— agency, media, public relations, research

•         Career achievements, with measurable results in the marketing field (including, but not limited to: advertising, creative, sales, media, public relations or technology)

•         Clearly demonstrate passion for the Hispanic advertising/marketing industry

•         Qualities and achievements that motivate others to excel by mentoring, inspiring, training or volunteering
