How America Views Homeownership [REPORT]

This study represents the third wave of the Homeownership Survey (benchmark study was conducted June 2014), gaining insight on the attitudes, opinions, beliefs and misperceptions that Americans have towards owning a home. Although this year’s survey was a slight departure from the versions asked years prior, people’s general attitudes and opinions around home ownership are consistent with results seen in the 2014/ 2015 research, with respondents in all audiences generally describing the concept as being both positive and practical.
