“Ask a Mexican” Gustavo Arellano is a writer with OC Weekly, an alternative newspaper in Orange County, California, and a contributing editor to the Los Angeles Times. He is a familiar presence in Southern California radio as a frequent guest on liberal and conservative talk shows, where he discusses local and national issues. His !Ask a Mexican! Column won the 2006 Association of Alternative Newsweeklies award for the best column in a large circulation weekly. Gustavo is famous for “clearing up” stereotypes about Mexicans, so we took the opportunity to ask him a few questions  we gathered from some of our friends.
