Bates LatAM Expands Argentina.

Bates Latin America is expanding the offices of one of its biggest markets: Argentina. The announcement was made by Gary McBride, President of Bates Latin America, and head of all Latin American operations within the Bates Worldwide network.

As of April 1, 2001, Bates Fernandez S.A. will become Bates Integrated Communications. The new management team is led by Jairo Sanchez, an accomplished international executive with more than 20 years of experience in the Argentine market. He has held top management positions at a national and international level for companies such as Colgate Palmolive, Revlon International, Telemundo Puerto Rico, and J.E. Seagram & Son, Inc. The new company is relocating to new, modern headquarters on the tenth floor of Av. Libertador 6550 in Buenos Aires.

“Bates Integrated Communications will build upon its valuable portfolio of existing accounts and qualified team of executives to develop into one of the most competitive agencies in Argentina,” said McBride. “As we have done in our Mexican and Brazilian markets, where we have achieved a tremendous billing increase over the past several months, we will provide the agency with the full support of all our companies, including 141, which specializes in BTL, and Zenith Media, which is dedicated exclusively to media planning and buying.”
