Environics Communications Expands To Washington DC.

Environics Communications, Inc., a full-service and multicultural PR firm, announced its continued U.S. expansion with the opening of a new office in Washington, D.C.

Located at 1050 Connecticut Ave., the office opened this week to serve the Washington/Baltimore market and is headed by Senior Vice President and General Manager, Dave Groobert. Groobert was most recently a senior managing director in the Washington office of Hill & Knowlton (H&K), where he ran the firm’s marketing communications practice.

Over the past five years, Environics has achieved a 521 percent revenue growth rate. The firm’s North American client roster includes companies such as Xerox, Bayer, Johnson & Johnson, Palm, Sabre, Edward Jones, Glaxo SmithKline, Guinness and Panasonic.

Environics has several client relationships based in the Washington/Baltimore market, including the Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies, BITS (the banking consortium working toward e-commerce initiatives), Sylvan Learning Centers, the National SAFE KIDS campaign and the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.
