MTV-S @ Ruido Group.

Ruido Group announced that it will work with MTV-S, a music cable network offering U.S. Hispanics 24 hours of pop and rock en Español. Ruido Group will position the MTV-S brand among an audience of young U.S. Hispanics through traditional and non-traditional marketing efforts including broadcast and print advertising and grassroots marketing.

“MTV-S is a milestone for U.S. Hispanic television, ushering an era of younger, edgier, more targeted programming,” commented Roberto Ramos, Ruido Group president. “We are very excited to be working with MTV-S and we look forward to further strengthening the bond between the channel and the U.S. Hispanic youth segment,” he added. “MTV-S is already the best medium to reach a Latino youth demographic with a purchasing power exceeding $100 billion, and with an influence as a trendsetter group exceeding its size,” Ramos concludes.

“MTV-S was created for the growing number of U.S. Hispanics who want to tap into their culture and music, especially the booming Rock en Español movement. We are very proud to be bringing this unique programming to a growing number of viewers,” commented Eric Sherman, Vice President of MTV Digital. “We plan to continue our aggressive rollout of the network during the next year as pop and rock en Español continue their revolutionary ascent in the United States.”
