Chase Launches BancoChase.com.

Recognizing the unique needs of the Hispanic market segment, Chase launched its new bilingual website, BancoChase.com.

The website will serve as a gateway to Chase for Hispanics and provide tailored content that addresses the financial interests and needs of this growing market. BancoChase.com provides bilingual information to visitors regarding a variety of Chase products and services, including: mortgages, credit cards, deposit products, careers at Chase and community development. Visitors can also access the main chase.com site through BancoChase.com. The site will be supported by a dedicated in-language customer service group, available Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 2:00 AM (CST) at 1-877-32-Chase.

Research reveals that the Hispanic population is growing at 5 times the total U.S. population, with Hispanics accounting for 11% of the total population in the United States. This customer segment is experiencing rapid growth in income and use of technology, resulting in a greater need for in-language, on-line information about financial services. BancoChase.com will educate and engage this segment and address its preferences by providing culturally relevant information and financial content in-language.

“With the launch of BancoChase.com, Chase becomes a major player in this market segment,” said Peter Roggemann, Senior Vice President of Chase’s National Consumer Services Integrated Solutions. “It’s about giving customers the information they need in a way that will help them see Chase as their financial resource and ally.”

Chase will create awareness of the new site through on-line media campaigns with popular Hispanic portals. Other customized solutions Chase offers to this market include a complete in-language credit card application process, in-language financial education seminars and literature, dedicated customer service representatives in call centers, bilingual direct mail programs and in-language options on all of Chase’s 1,877 ATMs.
