Gatorade – Xtremo For Latino Market.

The Gatorade Company launches Gatorade Xtremo, a new subline specially created for Latino consumers with an exotic blend of fruit flavors and a bilingual label.

Gatorade Xtremo is Gatorade with a Latin twist and is available in three exotic fruit flavors — Mango, Tropical and Citrico. Each Gatorade Xtremo flavor is formulated to quench thirst and fuel working muscles with the same superior formula of carbohydrates and electrolytes as traditional Gatorade.

Gatorade Xtremo is available in grocery and convenience stores in markets with large Latino populations and can be purchased in 32-ounce bottles.

“Gatorade has long enjoyed a loyal following among Latino consumers,” said Mary Dillon, vice president of product offerings, The Gatorade Company. “Latinos constitute a large segment of the population in some of our strongest
markets. The growth of the Latino population, now estimated at more than 35 million people, gave us the opportunity to create Gatorade Xtremo, which received phenomenal initial feedback from Latino consumers.”

To help support the Gatorade Xtremo brand, The Gatorade Company will launch new Spanish language ads April 1 produced by Dieste, Harmel and Partners. The Spanish-language ads showcase the new Gatorade Xtremo product, featuring an “X” running down an athlete’s face in distinct Gatorade colored sweat.
