National Hispanic Corporate Council Names Board of Directors.

The National Hispanic Corporate Council announced its 2001-2002 Board of Directors and officers.

The officers are Jon Munoz of Bank One, Chair of the Board; Carlos Pagoaga of The Coca-Cola Company, Chair-Elect; Marta Gerdes of McDonald’s Corp., Secretary; and Yolanda Casey of Hallmark Cards, Inc., Treasurer.

Ray Celaya of Allstate Insurance is Chair of the Education Committee, with Zoe Aponte of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. as Vice Chair. Olga Garcia of Coors Brewing Co. is Chair of the Membership Committee, with Virginia Nelson of TJX Companies Inc. as Vice Chair. Other Board Members include Roberto Quinones, AARP: Lorraine Brock, Nationwide Insurance; Rafael Garcia, Philip Morris Management Corp.; Mary Padilla, Univision Television Network; Grace Tillinghast, Eastman Kodak Company; Yvonne Vargas, The Boeing Company; and Art Ruiz, State Farm Insurance Companies, as Immediate Past Chair.

The National Hispanic Corporate Council is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving its member companies as a principal resource for information, expertise and counsel about Hispanic issues affecting corporate objectives, and to advocate for increased employment, leadership and business opportunities for Hispanics in corporate America.
