Bromley Wins Best Hispanic Radio Spot.

Bromley Communications received top honors for creating the year’s best Hispanic radio commercial at the recent Radio-Mercury awards ceremony in New York City.

In addition to the Mercury Trophy, San Antonio-based Bromley Communications received a $5,000 cash prize for creating the winning spot on behalf of Showtime Networks. Associate Creative Director Luis Elizalde wrote the script and teamed with Associate Creative Director Héctor Prado in creating the spot under the direction of Creative Director Pablo Buffagni. Producer Israel Shannon produced the commercial.

The Radio-Mercury Awards have been presented to top radio advertisers since 1992. They were established to encourage and reward the development of effective and creative radio commercials. Over the years, nearly 9,000 commercials have competed for almost $2 million in prizes. The Radio-Mercury Awards are governed by the Radio Creative Fund, a non-profit corporation funded by the radio industry.

“This award exemplifies the effectiveness of Showtime’s strategy to reach the Hispanic consumer. We appreciate the high quality creative execution that Bromley Communications provided,” said Karen Habib, director of Hispanic marketing for Showtime Networks.

“Our clients expect nothing less than ‘world-class’ results, and we are always up to the task,” added Bromley’s Creative Director Pablo Buffagni.
