Terra Music launches Interactive Bilingual Music Platform.

Terra is launching a new interactive music platform today, March 7 featuring Locos Por Juana, the two-time Grammy-nominated bilingual Latin Band. Tune in today at 4:00pm ET on http://www.terra.com. This will be the first in a series of 360-degree Terra live music experiences where users can interact with both well-known musical artists and up-and-coming bands in an intimate setting. Hosted by Terra’s “Music City” VJ, Mauricio Mendoza, from Terra’s new state-of-the-art studio in Miami, this program will be available online, through mobile devices and tablets and shared via social media.

During the live broadcasts, users can chat, tweet and post questions via mobile and online for the bands and artists. Their questions will be answered during the live broadcast(s). Users can enter contests for the chance to be in the studio audience, win prizes and signed memorabilia, such as an acoustic Epiphone guitar from Gibson signed by Locos Por Juana for the first event.

“Music City has been one of our most successful original video series and building off of that momentum, we have created a complementary and new experience,” said Ingrid Otero, Director of Programming for Terra USA. “Terra is proud of our exclusive content and with the support of the featured artists, our users can access this ongoing program without leaving their homes,” added Otero.

“Terra is a global leader in streaming live concerts and with this new platform, we offer our US-based advertisers and music fans a new venue in which to meet. This enables our clients to connect with a young bilingual audience in a new multi-screen way,” said Liz Sarachek Blacker, Chief Revenue Officer, Terra USA.

Tune in Wednesday, March 7 at 4:00 pm ET, for Terra’s live stream and interview with Locos Por Juana at http://www.terra.com/musiccitylive>, the first of a series of shows throughout the year, live streamed and also available On Demand.
