Vertis Communications named Oscar Padilla as the new director of interactive services. Bringing extensive industry experience and a strong background in marketing to Vertis, Padilla will be responsible for directing and executing the company’s new media strategy.

Vertis’ new media initiatives include empowering digital communications to expand clients’ loyalty programs and existing marketing campaigns. By integrating the traditional channels of advertising inserts, direct mail and in-store ads with online advertising inserts, robust e-mail campaigns and Web portal/print-on-demand technologies, Vertis enables a continuous loop of communication that leverages all media. Vertis’ breadth of solutions allows retailers to speak directly with their customers and achieve greater response.

Before joining Vertis, Padilla served as managing director at Mindshare Interactive Campaigns where he led strategy and technology teams to plan and execute integrated online programs for marquee clients. Prior to Mindshare, he worked with Web-based solution provider Bridgeline Software to implement enterprise Web systems in support of clients’ communications and business needs.
