La Salud Hispana & The MetroStars Join Forces To Deliver A Day of Health.

La Salud Hispana, Latino ‘s Leading health magazine, and the NY/NJ MetroStars, of Major League Soccer, have announced a strategic partnership for what is expected to be the biggest information and gateway-driven exposition directed to Latino consumers,The Latino Health & Technology Festival

The Latino Health & Technology Festival will take place on Saturday, August 4, 2001 from 9:00A.M. to 6:00P.M. at the Giant Stadium Bubble in the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The event will be followed by a soccer match between the MetroStars and the Miami Fusion and will culminate with a post game concert by a major Latino music act. “The MetroStars are extremely excited about our partnership with La Salud Hispana and the creation of our first annual Latino Health and Technology Expo,” said MetroStars General Manager Nick Sakiewicz. “We continually strive to reach out and meet the needs of our significant Hispanic fan base, and this combination of informing and entertaining will hopefully lead to a revolution in the way we interact with our communities.”

With this announcement, La Salud Hispana continues to grow its array of service offerings that put corporate America and Latinos on the fast track to success. The Latino Health & Technology Festival is the venue where Latinos and corporate America can exchange questions, information and opinions in a welcoming, receptive environment designed to encourage interaction and education. The Latino Health & Technology Festival will provide over 25,000 Latinos expected to attend the unique opportunity to benefit from endless opportunities in health, business, education, job/careers, housing and technology in an enjoyable, one-day format that includes entertainment, fitness, soccer clinics, seminars, medical screenings, professional soccer action and a Latino concert by the well renowned GRUPO NICHE and other celebrity appearances.
