Univision Joins S&P 500.

Univision Communications Inc. announced that it has been selected to join the S&P 500 Index after the close of trading on Tuesday, February 6, 2001. The S&P 500, a representative sample of leading companies in leading industries, is a closely followed metric throughout the business and investment community.
“This is an important milestone for Univision Communications and we are extremely pleased to join this highly-regarded index,” said A. Jerrold Perenchio, Univision’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
