The Mundial Group, a multimedia sports publishing company based in New York, is adding a digital platform to its distribution model through an exclusive supplier deal with Zinio.
In addition to Fútbol Mundial magazine, The Mundial Group also publishes Beísbol Mundial (World Baseball) and Boxeo Mundial (World Boxing). The first digital edition from the Mundial Group to go live on Zinio’s global newsstand www.zinio.com and be made available through Zinio’s distribution network will be Boxeo Mundial magazine, a magazine that premiered in December ’08 for the MGM fight in Los Vegas between “Oscar de la Hoya vs. Manny Pacquiao.”
According to Sención, “As soccer, baseball, and boxing continue to grow, so does the US Hispanic fan base, and our strategy continues to focus on multi-platform publishing opportunities.”
