Paulina Rubio’s ‘Don’t Say Goodbye’.

Paulina Rubio’s Universal Records crossover debut, BORDER GIRL, officially dropped its first single “Don’t Say Goodbye,” on 4/30 and the song is a multi-format hit with 110 adds in Pop and Rhythmic/Crossover formats! The track has had an impressive pre-add run, reaching Top 10 Most Added status at Pop radio last week with adds from a total of 78 stations and had a strong early showing at Rhythmic/Crossover radio with 18 stations pre-add date. The track had already broken into the Top 40 at R&R last week and has landed at #38 this week on the chart — showing no sign of slowing up.

“Don’t Say Goodbye” picked up a total of 13 new stations this week at pop radio including KBKS/Seattle, WKFS/Cincinnati and KUDD/Salt Lake City among others. This adds to their already long-list of notables which include early believers like KIIS/Los Angeles, WKSC/Chicago, Z95/San Francisco (#1 Research) and KRBV and KHKS/Dallas. On the Rhythmic/Crossover side B96/Chicago, WKIE/Chicago and KYLD/San Francisco came in early and were joined this week by WKTU/New York, WQSX/Boston and WNVZ/Norfolk among others. Paulina is already on the CHR Pop Mainstream chart at R&R debuting 2 weeks ago at 47* and coming in at 38* this week +346 spins.
