Radio & Records: LA Hispanic Station ‘Strong-Arming Concert Promoters’.

According to Radio and Records magazine, renown Los Angeles promoter Empresa Frias is accusing Leonard Liberman’s Los Angeles Regional Mexican formatted KBUE’s Programming Director Eddie Leon and another station employee Pepe Garza who are reported to be running their own promoter and consultant business, of strong-arming tactics. The promoter accuses the employees of threatening to withhold airplay on several acts that had suspiciously withdrawn from the promoter’s March 24 concert that was being advertised on KBUE.
