Henao – President Of Advertising Federation Of Greater Miami.

Betsy Henao, account director for Zubi Advertising has been named president of the Advertising Federation of Greater Miami, a professional trade organization with over 275 members devoted to fostering higher advertising industry standards in the community.

With over 13 years of experience in the field of advertising account management, Ms. Henao’s expertise lies in the field of Hispanic marketing. Since 1998, Ms. Henao has been an account director at Zubi Advertising with responsibilities that include strategic planning for the U.S. Hispanic market with current clients such as American Airlines, Ford Motor Company, Florida Lottery, Olive Garden and Wachovia.

“I am honored to have been elected as president of the Ad Fed of Greater Miami,” said Betsy Henao, account director for Zubi Advertising. “I hope to carry on the wonderful legacy of past Ad Fed presidents in continuously raising our industry to new levels, not only locally but nationally.”

Founded in 1924, The Advertising Federation of Greater Miami is an organization composed of professionals from all areas of the advertising industry who are dedicated to fostering higher standards for the industry in the Miami area. The Ad Fed provides ongoing education to its members through monthly events, seminars and scholarships. The organization also supports the community through public service programs.

Ms. Henao’s goals for the 2005-06 Ad Fed year include increasing membership and diversity within the association, reaching out to different disciplines in the marketing field through more programs, and ideally being named the Division II Club of the Year by the American Advertising Federation, Ad Fed’s national parent association.
