Univision 41 celebrates the May 2001 sweeps period with a duo of viewer sweepstakes.

Univision 41 offers viewers the chance to win a trip to Puerto Rico with ringside seats to a boxing match featuring Miguel Cotto, plus a trip to Miami to see the popular Spanish-language talk show “Cristina” in her new studios in two “watch & win” sweepstakes during the month of May.

Details of the two contests follows:

Attend the Miguel Cotto Boxing Match in Puerto Rico on May 20 (to be seen live on Univision 41 at 3 pm on May 20): Viewers should watch “Noticias 41” at 11 pm (Univision 41’s 11 pm local newscast) seven days a week for instructions on how to enter. A winner will be selected at random from entries during the sports segment of the 11pm broadcast of “Noticias 41” (Univision 41’s local newscast) on Sunday, May 13.

See “Cristina” in Miami: Thursday, April 26 through Friday, May 18, viewers of the talk show “Cristina,” which is seen weekdays on Univision 41 (WXTV) 3 pm to 4 pm, will have the opportunity to win a trip for two to Miami (all expenses paid) and two tickets to the “Cristina” broadcast starring Cristina Saralegui. This season “Cristina” marks twelve years on the air. To play, viewers must send a postcard mentioning the daily theme phrase of the “Cristina” program to P.O. Box 40, Teaneck, NJ 07666. Viewers must include the date of the program, their name, address, and phone number. The winner will be selected at random from the entries on Wednesday, May 23, during the 3 pm to 4 pm Univision 41 broadcast of “Cristina.”
