Univision Fresno announces changes at its Radio Stations

Univision Radio announced changes to its radio stations in Fresno, California, including the swap of KRDA and KOND on the radio dial.

Now on 92.1 FM, KRDA is “92.1 Amor,” which continues to play Spanish-language adult hits KRDA listeners love, including Marco Antonio Solis, Joan Sebastian, Juan Gabriel and Vicente Fernandez.

KOND is now “107.5 La Jefa”, and continues to play the Regional Mexican format popular with Fresno radio listeners. KOND is also home to popular morning show, “El Bueno, La Mala y El Feo” from 5:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m., as well as local on-air personalities, Cristina Bonita from 10:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. and Armando Borlotes from 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., all Monday-Friday (all times Pacific).

“With KOND’s higher spectrum, the swapping of KRDA and KOND on the radio dial allows us to provide the popular Regional Mexican format to a broader reach of listeners, especially in the southern portion of the Fresno DMA,” said Steve Stuck, vice president & general manager, Univision Fresno. “These latest changes provide our listeners with the music they enjoy to hear.”

Earlier this year, KLLE became ZONAMX 107.9 FM with the Regional Mexican format, providing listeners with an upbeat blend of corridos and banda.
