U.S. Hispanic soccer fans can enjoy new seasons of Costa Rica’s “Campeonato Apertura 2018,” which kicked off Sunday, July 22nd and El Salvador and Honduras’ “Torneo Apertura 2018,” beginning Saturday, July 28, exclusively on Centroamérica TV. The three tournaments will run through December.

“The passion for soccer remains strong following the excitement of the 2018 World Cup, and Centroamérica TV is proud to continue the thrill by bringing its fans the biggest soccer tournaments from Central America,” said Francisco Gimenez, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Cable Networks of Hemisphere Media Group, Inc., Centroamérica TV’s parent company. “These tournaments allow our viewers in the U.S. to experience every goal with their club teams from back home and we’re honored to strengthen that connection.”

From the Honduran National Professional Football League, fans will be able to enjoy the “Clásico Moderno” between Real C.D. España and C.D. Olimpia, and watch as the two most frequent holders of the championship trophy, F.C. Motagua and C.D. Olimpia, battle it out for the title of Honduras’ most winningest team. As for the Costa Rican League, Primera Division clubs such as Deportivo Saprissa, Alajuelense, and Herediano will compete for the championship of the “Campeonato de Apertura.”
