Telemundo will be broadcast live FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Bahamas 2017

Telemundo Deportes, the Spanish-language home of the FIFA World Cup and all major FIFA tournaments, presents exclusive coverage of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Bahamas 2017, the premier beach soccer tournament that brings together 16 teams from around the world to compete on the sands of Nassau, promising the best action and atmosphere.  

The 11-day event kicks off Thursday, April 27 with Iran taking on Mexico at 3:20 p.m. EST. All matches will air live on Telemundo Deportes’ digital platforms, TelemundoDeportes.com and the Telemundo Deportes EN VIVO App.  The final rounds will air live on Telemundo beginning with the semis on Saturday, May 6 at 2:30 pm and the 3rdplace and final match on Sunday, May 7 beginning at 2:30 pm.     

The coverage will be led by Telemundo Deportes’ Copán Álvarez and Karim Mendiburu, alongside Frederik Oldenburg and special guest analyst, former beach soccer player and assistant coach the U.S. National Team, Francis Farberoff. In addition, Leti Coo will be reporting from site, complementing the coverage with all the action, culture, color and flavor of the Bahamas. Telemundo Deportes’ social media platforms will also provide comprehensive content throughout the tournament.

Among the 16 nations competing is returning champion Portugal, four-time champion Brazil and Mexico. The roster also includes Bahamas, Ecuador, Italy, Iran, Japan, Nigeria, Panama, Paraguay, Poland, Senegal, Switzerland, Tahiti and United Arab Emirates.
