Top Latin musicians from the Americas and the Caribbean are scheduled to perform at this year's 3rd Annual Festival De Las Americas (FDLA) on October 24-27, 2001 in the Dutch Caribbean island of Aruba.

Luis Miguel, Alejandro Sanz and Thalia will perform on the 2nd Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards telecast set for September 11, it was announced today by Michael Greene, President/CEO of the Recording Academy and Latin Recording Academy. Nelly Furtado and Jon Secada will be among the presenters.

Billboard, the international newsweekly of the music industry, and Telemundo announced a multi-year extension for the production and broadcast of the Billboard Latin Music Awards show on the Telemundo Network. The annual event honors the year's biggest Latin music stars.
