Montemayor y Asociados has announced that Eduardo (Lalo) Wakefield has joined the agency as creative director.

Wakefield will be responsible for creative direction for the agency's U.S. Hispanic-market advertising accounts and will supervise the work of the seven-member creative team.

Prior to joining Montemayor y Asociados, Wakefield was associate creative director at Bromley Communications, where he worked on the Levi's, Western Union and Procter & Gamble accounts, among others. He also has worked at Gamemachine.com, a San Antonio-based company, where he supervised the creative development of an entertainment portal and the creation of on-line games and promotional engines for markets in Latin America and the U.S. Wakefield also spent two years as senior copywriter for Ornelas & Associates, a Hispanic advertising agency in Dallas, and has worked at Font & Vaamonde and Noble & Asociados, both in the Los Angles area.
