GobiernoUSA.gov & ImpreMedia expand outreach to Hispanic Community.

GobiernoUSA.gov, the official web portal for the U.S. government in Spanish, will collaborate with Spanish language newspaper publisher ImpreMedia to expand its distribution of official government information to the Hispanic community.

GobiernoUSA.gov, the Spanish version of USA.gov, which was recently named one of Time’s magazine’s “25 Sites You Can’t Live Without,” is joining forces with ImpreMedia, the Spanish language newspaper and online news publisher, to offer GobiernoUSA.gov’s content to Spanish newspaper websites, including LaOpinion.com, and ElDiarioNY.com. The venture will enable GobiernoUSA.gov to expand its distribution of official government information in Spanish to a wider audience within the Hispanic community.

“GobiernoUSA.gov is committed to serving the Spanish-speaking public with relevant and official government information and services,” said GSA Deputy Associate Administrator Martha Dorris. “Our collaboration with ImpreMedia enables us to broaden our online reach into the Hispanic community to those who may not be aware of the valuable resources the
federal government offers in Spanish via GobiernoUSA.gov.”

GobiernoUSA.gov facilitates access to government information in Spanish by bringing together in one centralized location resources from federal, state and local government agencies. The site is organized by topic and by audience and is available to the public at http://www.gobiernousa.gov>.

The combination of ImpreMedia’s reach in the Hispanic online market and GobiernoUSA.gov’s official Spanish content increases the availability of trustworthy government information and services to the Hispanic community.
