Terra Lycos announced it has selected, a U.S. based multi-media medical and healthcare information portal, to serve as its premier, global health/medical channel for the Terra sites.

The new health/medical channel, available in the "health" and "shopping" sections of the Terra sites, is aimed at the international Latin community and will provide Terra users in the U.S., Latin America and Spain with a sophisticated array of medical, healthcare and wellness content.

The co-branded site will feature speciality channels linked to established advertisers, together with proprietary e-health, B2B and B2C platforms. Accessible in English, Spanish and Portuguese, the site will be augmented by chat rooms and healthcare content sponsored by internationally recognized physicians, surgeons, medical centers and pharmaceutical companies.

Also featured will be an on-line pharmacy, a sports product and fitness site, e-insurance programs and links to brick and click and brick and mortar partners.
