Vincent joins ImpreMedia as Publisher of the Rumbo Newspaper Network.

ImpreMedia announced the appointment of Bill Vincent as Publisher of the Rumbo newspaper network in South and Central Texas.

“Texas is the second largest state in terms of Hispanic population, and a strong presence there is critical to the success of impreMedia. Bill Vincent’s track record in Spanish language print media and his knowledge of the local region make him the perfect leader to take Rumbo to the next level,” commented Monica Lozano, SVP Newspapers for impreMedia.

Vincent was recently the Business Director for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and their Spanish-language publication weekly, La Estrella, where he managed the day-to-day business of both the daily and weekly publications. Vincent is also credited for creating DFW’s first home-delivered Hispanic publication, En Casa, currently the Fort Worth Star-Telegram’s exclusive Hispanic product.

Vincent began his career in print as the General Manager, Retail Regional Manager and Salesperson for San Diego’s PennySaver in 1982. In 1996, Vincent rose to Publisher for Capital Cities/ABC Publishing’s Pennypower where he reversed a 15-year sales decrease trend. During a year at Harte-Hanks Communications as Director of Sales & Marketing and Expansion Manager, Vincent helped lead the PennySaver’s expansion into Contra Costa County in 1998.
