ImpreMedia announced the appointment of Alberto Vourvoulias-Bush to the newly-created position of Corporate Executive Editor. The appointment is effective immediately. Mr. Vourvoulias-Bush will report to impreMedia Chairman & CEO John Paton.

Mr. Vourvoulias-Bush will be responsible for leading the company in its consolidation and prioritization of its content creation across all of its media platforms – online, mobile, video and print. “Alberto is an innovative and strategic thinker as well as being an accomplished journalist,” Mr. Paton said. “He is the right choice for our company to lead our content teams forward in an ever-changing multi-platform media environment.”

Mr. Vourvoulias-Bush has been the Executive Editor of impreMedia’s El Diario La Prensa newspaper in New York City since June 2005. During his tenure, El Diario La Prensa has been one of the fastest-growing paid daily newspapers in the nation winning numerous awards for its content. He has also been the driving force behind El Diario’s creative use of online and video content offerings. Prior to joining El Diario La Prensa, Mr. Vourvoulias-Bush was the Managing Editor of ARTnews; Deputy Editor of Time Magazine’s Latin America Edition and Director of Time Americas. He spent four years at the Council on Foreign Relations as a research associate for the foreign policy think-tank, and has been a lecturer at New York University (SCE) and an instructor at Yale University.
