Mid-Market to lead mobile adoption faster than large organizations.

According to a recent research report from Aberdeen Group, a Harte-Hanks company, mid-market companies, those with revenues over $50 million and under $1 billion per year, will increase their investment in mobile technologies 21% compared to large organizations, which will grow their investment in mobile technologies by only 3% in 2007.

The “Mobile Adoption Series” report also shows that a greater proportion of the mid-market segment workforce is mobile compared to large organizations.

“The executives in this market segment need education on the benefits of mobilizing their business. According to Aberdeen’s research, twice as many mid-market organizations as large organizations indicate that management does not understand the value of mobile solutions as a top challenge in mobile adoption,” said Philippe Winthrop, Research Director, Wireless and Mobility practice.
