“Women’s World Cup” The biggest and most important tournament in Women’s soccer is exclusively on Galavisión. This fifth edition of the event will take place in China. (September 10-30, 2007)

“FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup” The popular game that evolved on the beaches of Rio de Janeiro has now become a FIFA-sanctioned world championship event but it hasn’t lost its Brazilian flavor. Fast-paced, delivering almost 10 goals a game, and packed with acrobatic volleys and bicycle kicks, beach soccer has seen its popularity soar in recent years. “FIFA Futsal World Cup” “Futsal” is the indoor 5-on-5 version of the world’s most popular game and Galavisión will have the exclusive television rights to the 2008 World Cup in Brazil. Although the sport was long dominated by Brazilians, Spain won the title in 2000 and successfully defended it in 2004. The action is fast and the arena setting makes the coverage intimate as the 16 qualified teams battle it out through round robin and knockout rounds to determine a world champion for the next four years. “FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup” Chile will host the 2008 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup as 16 teams from around the globe send their best young stars to compete for international supremacy in this Galavisión exclusive tournament. (Spring 2008)
