MASS Public Relations Re-Launches As Hispania Public Relations.

MASS Public Relations, the former public relations arm of MASS, Inc., has changed its name to Hispania Public RelationsS to reflect more accurately the firm’s national Hispanic focus.

The announcement by Hispania President Sergio López-Miró follows last month’s purchase of MASS Promotions by Spanish-language radio network Radio Unica. Hispania, which was not part of the sale, will continue in strategic alliance with the company.

“We are encouraged by the tremendous opportunities for growth that lie ahead, and are already taking steps to prepare for it,” López-Miró said.

One of those steps was the recent appointment of former CFA Public Relations Director Dennis Hernández to help develop Hispania’s business plan and oversee its new business strategy. A 15-year veteran executive with TV networks Univision and Telemundo, Hernández will hold the title of Vice President, Account Services.
