Paulina Rubio Highlights Pepsi MLS All-Star Show.

International multi-platinum pop superstar Paulina Rubio will highlight the 2002 Pepsi MLS Halftime Show, broadcast live on national television during the 2002 Pepsi MLS All-Star Game. The halftime performance adds to the excitement of Major League Soccer’s seventh All-Star spectacular featuring the 2002 MLS All-Star squad against the U.S. National Team on Saturday, August 3, to be televised nationally from RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C. at 3:30 p.m. (ET), live on ABC Sports.

Rubio, the internationally acclaimed “Golden Girl” of Spanish pop, makes the American network television debut of her latest single, “The One You Love” at the event, following the smashing success of her first single “Don’t Say Goodbye.” Coincidentally, “Don’t Say Goodbye” cracked the top 10 of MTV’s Total Request Live on Tuesday, June 25, the same day that San Jose Earthquakes and U.S. World Cup forward Landon Donovan appeared on the show.

“The 2002 Pepsi MLS All-Star Game will be a world-class celebration of soccer with world-class entertainment in Paulina Rubio,” said Noonan. “This is yet another example of Pepsi’s commitment to bringing MLS fans the best in sports and entertainment.”
