HPRA National AD HOC Committee For 2006.

The Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA) is currently accepting submissions from interested individuals who would like to be a part of a national ad hoc committee to further expand HPRA’s presence across the country.

While HPRA was originally created in Los Angeles to serve members in the Southern California area, it has recently experienced nationwide growth and now boasts a membership base of more than 150 members. HPRA is seeking qualified, dedicated leaders throughout the country who will represent the organization nationally in 2006 and work to establish chapters, enhance services to members outside of Los Angeles, and solicit sponsorship support among other responsibilities.

“Many volunteers, including the current Board of Directors, have worked hard to increase our presence in the industry and expand our capabilities to support the growing number of Hispanic public relations professionals across the country,” said Sandra Bernardo, HPRA president and associate vice president at Euro RSSG Magnet. “There is a great need for a unifying body and HPRA is ready to take the next step and make our vision of expansion a reality.”

The committee will work with the HPRA Board of Directors and Advisory Council, which is made up of founders and past presidents of HPRA, to create a strategic plan and execute various national initiatives.

For more information please contact Sandra Bernardo at 951-272-1888 x24 or Sa*************@eu******.com. The deadline is September 30.
