Working Americans Have To Say……….

In a recent Fast Company Magazine/Roper Starch survey, working Americans (defined as college-educated people, in households with incomes of at least $75,000 per year) were asked to evaluate moments that have defined our work and business culture over the last five years and consider what will define our country in the future.

What Working Americans Have to Say About Technology & Telecommunications Industry

54% of working Americans rated wireless phones as the most compelling new technology over Palm Pilot, Napster, eBay, Interactive television, or Instant Messaging. Suggesting that Americans accept change the most readily when it arrives in familiar forms.

78% of working Americans believe it is possible that the telecommunications industry will be completely wireless and AT&T could possibly disappear.
Automotive Industry

77% of working Americans feel that the auto industry as we know it could be completely transformed. Automakers will sell at least half their cars directly to consumers over the Internet.

Working Americans feel it is conceivable that AOL or Microsoft could potentially own General Motors or another major auto manufacturer.

The Internet

93% of working Americans believe that the Internet is still in its infancy. Over the next five years, Americans believe that we will see enormous technological leaps that will make the Net more and more pervasive in our work and in our lives.
